We Provide Regular Pulmonary Function Tests for Industrial Workers
If your employees are exposed to extensive amounts of dust and harmful vapours at your company’s industrial work site, then they will need their lungs tested. Lung function tests, also called pulmonary function tests (PFTs), evaluate how well a person’s lungs are working. The tests determine how much air the lungs can hold, as well as spirometry which tests how quickly a person can inhale and exhale air in and out of their lungs. These tests can diagnose conditions such as asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Accurate Pulmonary Function Testing

The individuals tested will go through different stages of testing so that the age of the lungs can be properly assessed. The data collected will allow your company to track employees’ health as they get tested annually, so they can compare results year over year. This will allow you to address any health concerns by having the right safety equipment such as respirator masks fitted for individuals in the workplace.
We recommend individuals who are occupational health and safety services to refrain from smoking or drinking coffee for at least 1 hour prior to testing. Test results and recommendations will be outlined on a computerized print out and given to the employer.
